Custom Framing

Visit our NEW Website at

We are known for Expert Custom Framing with Quality and Style

It starts by our offering our professional assistance in helping you select the right materials and design for your piece.  Our showroom features many frame mouldings in different colors, styles and sizes.  Our selection covers a variety of price ranges to meet your budget.  You can touch and feel hand-rubbed frame mouldings from Italy and play with stacking two  and three mouldings together.  We also have fillets to match.

The frame design room has many samples of mats and fabrics in different colors and textures to add to your design.  We make conservation our main concern when framing your piece.  Our mats are acid-free rag paper, and our glass selections include a UV coating to eliminate the harmful effects of UV rays on artwork.

The gallery is owned by Ruth Burke.  She opened the store in 1989 in Old Town Seabrook on Second Street.  After building a reputation for her framing designs she relocated closer to the Johnson Space Center.  The current location at 204 Kirby features a Gallery for showing Ruth Burke´s photography and a Framing Design Center.

The gallery´s workshop area handles the assembly and completion of all of the custom framed pieces.  The equipment to cut and assemble frames, cut liners and mats and mount large sizes to 40x60 are part of the workshop.

The gallery is very easy to find.  From Houston, travel south on Interstate 45 to NASA Parkway.  Exit and travel east five miles to the intersection at Kirby Raod.  Turn left and the gallery will immediately be visible on the right.

The store is open Monday-Friday from 10am-6pm and Saturday from 11am-4pm.
